The Čair stadium in Niš, Serbia is renovated at the moment. After the renovation this football stadium will have a capacity of 18‘151 seats. The water lines for the hydrants are renewed at this occasion. The new water net had to cross the racetrack twice. Obviously the racetrack could not be opened. Therefore the water lines had to be laid trenchless.
This was a task for the TERRA-HAMMER TU 135 F of the specialist Anker Ing. doo from Niš. Left and right of the racetrack four starting and arrival pits were prepared, each of them 1.7 m (5.6 ft) deep, 0.80 m (2.6 ft) wide and 1.9 m (6.3 ft) long. Then the TERRA-HAMMER TU 135 F was aligned with the aiming staff. It had to reach the target in any case! Each bore required only 35 minutes. The TERRA-HAMMER TU 135 F had pulled in the PE-100 pipe with DA 90 mm (3.5“) simultaneously during the 15 m (50 ft) long bore.
