TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK lays gas line in Zirndorf
In the Swiss city Zirndorf a 9 m (30 ft) long protection pipe was laid under an existing road. Later on a gas line was pulled into this protection pipe Ø 70 mm (2.75”). The Authorities Zirndorf decided to use the underground piercing tool TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK, because it can be started from a small pit with 1.00 x 1.00 x 0.80 m (3.3 x 3.3 x 2.5 ft) with low recoil. Its combi head KOK allows the precise penetration through stony ground. With its low total weight of 24 kg (53 lbs) it is an ideal one-man-machine. This pipe laying project could be finished successfully and economically.

After a short while the direction and inclination are checked again.

In spite of the difficult ground conditions the TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK with its combi head pierces to the target.
The fast reverse allowed an efficient operation.
Der TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK reaches the arrival pit right on target.
The new pipe has been pulled in.
