Hauff-Zappo pipes quick and easy laid with mini-mole
The German contractor EnBW changed its pipes for fresh water from Ø 63 mm to Ø 75 mm. For that purpose they use the Hauff-Zappo system where the pipes are easily connected together. The company Kundt from Löffingen used for these requirements the TERRA mini-mole T 080mini SK with an end sleeve Ø 90 mm. Due to the handy mole and its strong impulse energy the pipe was successfully laid within 1 hour over 10 m (33 ft). The under-ground conditions were not easy because there was a lot of clay and gravel. The combi head of the mini-mole which combines a stepped and cone shape in one head, could get through the ground very precisely.
The TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK with end sleeve Ø 90 mm is installed in the cellar.
The pipe Ø 75 mm from Hauff-Zappo is fixed with the cable clamp.
The Hauff-Zappo pipes 1 m long (3.3 ft) are easily connected together.
The TERRA-HAMMER T 080mini SK arrives at the target pit very precisely.
