    The TERRA-EXTRACTOR X 300 C is an extremely powerful and compact cable burster for your tough lateral pipe bursting jobs. Equipped with a ø 22 or 14 mm cable the X 300 C is ideal for the replacement of old pipes made from cast iron, steel, clay ware or PE/PVC. Pipe bursting with a TERRA cable burster provides a high degree of flexibility. Its compact footprint requires minimal excavation and the system is built to help you cut down on wasted time, maximizing productivity. Its user-friendly, modular design makes it easy to operate, easy to set up and easy to transport.

    Powered by a proven 23 HP strong VANGUARD engine you get the power to get the job done quickly and the durability to be up and running burst after burst. The X 300 C replaces 40 to 200 mm lateral pipes with up to 30 tons of pulling force at 235 bar. New pipes up to ø 180 mm can be replaced over length up to 120 m. The X 300 C operates at low pressure, so you can choose from a variety of power supply options. Use our dedicated control unit or any other hydraulic supply capable of 235 bar with a flow of at least 40 ltr/min. You even can run it from your backhoe or compact excavator by simply connecting it to its quick-hitch system.

    Its user-friendly, modular design makes it easy to operate, easy to set up and easy to transport. The X 300 C can be disassembled easily into components less than 45 kg.

    The X 300 C can be lifted on its two lifting eyes.

Unique clamping jaws

    Four cable clamps with longitudinal slots (patented) guarantee secure contact to the pulling cable, no matter if the cable is new or dirty.The main clamp clamps the cable when the two cylinders push the main clamp upwards. The counter clamp holds the cable under tension when the two cylinders move downwards and the main clamp is released. The clamps are easy accessible and easy to change. They provide a faster, more efficient burst on your jobsite. The cable guidance ensures that the cable slides smoothly into the main clamp. It eliminates bungee effect to improve your productivity.

Cellar operation

    The X 300 C can easily be disassambled in single parts which weigh less than 45 kg. It can easily be carried by one or two persons into cellar rooms for the replacement of old house connections such as steel or plastic pipes.

Pit operation

    Due to its compact design the X 300 C only requires a very small working area. The durable front plate stabilizes the cable burster against the underground. Pit operations for the replacement of old main lines can easily be done. Its compact footprint requires minimal excavation and the system is built to help you cut down on wasted time, maximizing productivity.

Manhole operation

    The X 300 C can be equipped with round front plates. Manhole operations for manholes with inner diameter of ø 800 or ø 1'000 mm are possible. It can be lifted through manhole entries of ø 620 mm. In combination with threaded short pipes, the whole burst can be done with zero excavation. This provides a faster, more efficient burst.

Pulleys

    The pulleys deflect the pulling cable from horizontal to vertical position. This minimizes the required pit. Widen your margins, not your pits.

    With its compact front plate the X 300 C can work on smallest areas of 0.4 x 0.6 m.

Power supply by Vanguard Power Pack

    The X 300 C operates at low pressure with high production. The robust and powerful VANGUARD petrol engine offers up to 23 HP (17.2 kW). It is durable and reliable.

Power supply by backhoe or mini-excavator

    The X 300 C can be supplied by a backhoe or a mini-excavator. Connect it to your quick-hitch system of your power supply and operate the X 300 C comfortable in the cabin.
